Plakkies is Afrikaans, one of the South African national languages, and means “flip-flops”. We are three siblings who fell in love with Africa. We discovered the Plakkies while visiting our grandfather in Cape Town. They are traditionally made by hand with great attention to detail. Supported by our team, we want to bring the passion of craftsmanship to Europe and thereby support various charitable projects in Africa.
